Supporting The Center and Older Adults in Our Community

We help Iowa City-area seniors stay active, curious and connected.

A strong circle of friends is key to healthy aging. Friends are also essential to the Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center, where we cultivate wellness, social connections, community engagement and lifelong learning for older adults and other area residents.

Friends of The Center stands hand in hand with you and others in our community to raise the funds needed to maintain and enhance programming, facilities and outreach. We work tirelessly to ensure seniors and other community members will always have a welcoming place to gather and create new friendships!
